Alixio Group Switzerland acquires INTERPERSONA and strengthens its position in the public sector

Zurich, 4 December 2025

Alixio Group Switzerland AG announces that the agreement to acquire INTERPERSONA AG has been signed. The transfer of ownership will take place in January 2026. With this step, Alixio Group Switzerland further expands its role in labour market measures and strengthens its position in the public sector, particularly in the support of highly qualified professionals and executives.

For more than 15 years, INTERPERSONA has been a reliable partner in counselling and outplacement services for senior executives and upper-level managers who require professional reorientation. The company employs around 19 Senior Partners and collaborates with SECO and cantonal employment offices across Switzerland through inter-cantonal cooperation structures. With clearly structured methods, pragmatic coaching and targeted training in German, French and English, job-seeking executives receive highly professional and peer-level support. INTERPERSONA has thus established itself as a recognised player in this specific segment of labour market measures. The company also offers outplacement, coaching and assessment services in the private sector.

“This acquisition creates a strong foundation from which all stakeholders will benefit,” says Dr Pascal Scheiwiller, CEO of Alixio Group Switzerland. “With INTERPERSONA, we are strengthening our labour market measures specifically in the segment of highly qualified professionals and executives, who are increasingly under pressure due to structural changes in the labour market. We are seeing a strong rise in demand from the cantons.” For INTERPERSONA, the integration into Alixio Group opens up new opportunities. “We, and therefore our clients, will benefit greatly from working with Alixio Group, which brings extensive experience, significant resources and an excellent national and international network as the market leader in outplacement, HR consulting and interim management in the private sector,” says Dr Thomas N. Stemmle, founder and CEO of INTERPERSONA. “Alixio Group is close to the market and maintains a strong network that provides our clients with even broader and better prospects, including beyond Switzerland’s borders.”Dr Thomas N. Stemmle, who founded INTERPERSONA more than 15 years ago, will continue to serve as CEO. “Ensuring continuity within INTERPERSONA was very important to us,” adds Pascal Scheiwiller. To support the future growth and development of INTERPERSONA, Edgar Spieler, Director Public & Innovation at Alixio Group Switzerland, will assume the additional role of Co-CEO alongside Thomas N. Stemmle. “This allows us to make optimal use of synergies across the various Alixio entities. INTERPERSONA will continue to operate independently as a separate legal entity and brand,” Scheiwiller explains.
